Edouard Pignède

Postdoctoral Researcher at IRD

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD), member of the UMI SOURCE (University Paris-Saclay).

I am an applied environmental and development economist. My research focuses on the adaptation to climate change and the exploitation of natural resources in Sub-Saharan Africa.

I completed my PhD at Paris-Saclay Applied Economics and the Climate Economic Chair in September 2025, under the supervision of Raja Chakir, Philippe Delacote and Julien Wolfersberger. It receives the 2026 AFSE Thesis Prize from the French Economic Association (AFSE).
